Wildfires

The wildfires in California have been getting worse due to the increasing temperatures and unpredictable weather patterns caused by climate change. When a fire strikes nearby, if I’m around with my camera, I try to rush to get some photos, always being respectful of evacuation areas, and not interfering with the fire department or law enforcement. Most photos I take with my telephoto lens, to get images as close to the devastation as possible without taking heavy risks or endangering others. These images were taken at the Sand Fire of 2016, and the La Tuna Fire of 2017, and the Thomas Fire of 2017.
